Our 2023 GCSE pupils have much to be proud of, they have demonstrated dedication, resilience, and a passion for learning, which has resulted in them earning some truly excellent results.
Although the grading of GCSE and A levels has been brought back in line with pre-pandemic standards by the examination boards, this year’s cohort have outperformed the results seen in 2019.
The Headmaster of Uppingham School, Dr Richard Maloney, says: “This year’s results demonstrate just how remarkable these young people are. They have overcome the challenges and disruptions to their formative years, particularly within the context of education, to achieve brilliant outcomes that we are immensely proud of.
We look forward to welcoming them back to Uppingham in September and to seeing all that they achieve throughout their Sixth Form years.”
