Payment of Fees

Fees are payable in advance on the last working day before the start of each term.

Each term’s fee bill includes the fee for the following term, together with extras for the preceding term.

Fees are payable by termly Direct Debit unless the School has agreed to accept payment by direct bank transfer.  Normally, this is for international payments as direct debit requires a UK bank account.  Please contact the Finance Manager, Lindsay Cooper, on 01572 820627 or [email protected] if you need to agree payment terms.  The Direct Debit collection date each term will be the due date.

Direct Debit Instruction forms are downloadable from the online New Pupils Papers platform or are available on request.

School Fee Plan (SFP) is one company which provides the option for parents to spread the cost of paying fees using monthly Direct Debit.

If parents enter into an agreement with SFP, please note that the School is not party to the agreement, which is between SFP and the parents only.  Please also note that the School is not recommending SFP to parents, and that it is the responsibility of parents to satisfy themselves as to the suitability of SFP’s offer, and as to the financial viability of SFP.  The School’s standard terms and conditions will remain in force at all times.  If parents enter into an agreement with SFP to pay their school fees as a third party, parents will remain fully responsible for all fees if the third party defaults.

School Fee Plan

Fees in Advance Scheme

We offer a Standard Fees in Advance scheme, which is an attractive way of reducing school fees by making an advanced lump sum payment. A deposit into the scheme secures future fees at a fixed discount, with possible tax benefits, and gives you peace of mind that your school fees are dealt with.

Under the Scheme, a lump sum payment in units of £1,000 is made to cover future fees, either in advance of entry to the School, or at any time after joining the School. Payments can be made by anyone who has parental consent and is approved by the School. You can choose the amount you wish to deposit, the number of terms’ fees you wish to cover (between three and fifteen terms), or the amount of annual fees you wish to cater for. You can also decide the rate of future annual fee inflation you wish to be applied in your quotation and can add supplementary payments.

As stated above, the scheme could be advantageous to depositors from a taxation point of view, but we would recommend you seek independent financial or tax advice before considering it.
