Once pupils leave Uppingham, they become part of the Old Uppinghamian (OU) community, and through the OU Association have unlimited access to the School for Life programme.
The programme recognises the need for on-going career support, especially for younger OUs, as they navigate the complex and competitive job market. By harnessing the collective support of the OU network, School for Life facilitates connections between OUs for work experience, internships, advice, networking and all things career related.
The common thread that I have learned is that mentorship and contacts is a key contributor to growing one's career.
